Testimonials

Dear Vice President Lee and Director Mallette;

I recently joined Allied Universal Security Services as a Transit Security Officer in Denver. I wanted to share some of my training experiences with you.

More than half of my 30 years in Law Enforcement and Corrections has been spent developing, delivering and administering training for the Albuquerque Police Department, Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Department, the New Mexico Police Officer Standards and Training and the Colorado Department of Corrections. Most recently I retired from the Colorado Police Officer Standards and Training with the Attorney Generals Office, where one of my responsibilities was inspection and auditing all firearms curriculum, instruction and range facilities, at the 28 statewide police academies, providing training for basic peace officer certification.

Since I have a base of knowledge in this field, I hope that you will appreciate how impressed I was with the firearms instruction provided by Greg Travelstead and Peter Haug on behalf of Allied Universal Security. I have never seen such a complete and comprehensive program as they have created. Both instructors were incredibly dynamic and competent in their presentation.  They both made me proud to be associated with this organization.

Please convey to both of them my sincere appreciation for their professionalism and superior knowledge. I hope they both continue working for Allied Universal Security Services and they have opportunities to expand on what is already an awesome program.

Sincerely,

David W. Schuetz

Peter,

Thanks for the kind message. I can’t express enough thanks for teaching me to be safe and much more comfortable with pistol shooting. In the past I wanted to go to the range to get better, but also to relieve my tension, and sometimes neither thing happened for me. Now I am excited by the results of your focused lesson, and feel very confident about my abilities to improve from a good base.

Thanks also for the confidence in me. If the neighborhood ever went to hell in a disaster or some other craziness happened, I would most certainly be looking for you as a partner to join up with!

I hope to see you again soon. I’ve already recruited a couple friends who are interested in the advanced combat class; and a couple who will come to you soon for the CCW training.
Kind Regards,

Z.

Peter,

Hey buddy, I just want to thank you for the excellent job you did at the qualifying on Saturday!  It is gratifying to know there is someone of your abilities serving the church and the Sheepdogs.  Your knowledge and training aptitude is invaluable, and I hope the others are aware of what a blessing it is to have someone like you that willingly donates time and effort to better the group.

I really appreciate all you had to say, and although it has been many years since I was in law enforcement, some of the dust fell off and a few things started coming back.  I look forward to brushing back up on the things I have probably forgotten, and the learning of new techniques I’m sure you are on the leading edge with.  Having years in various assignments and rank, I did serve some time on a SWAT team, so have some experience there.  As a chief, there were admin things that will probably be similar, so if there is anything I can assist with, count me in.

If you wouldn’t mind me tagging along sometime, would love to go the range you mentioned and try to pick up more from you by observation.   Again, can’t thank you enough for your dedication and commitment to what you are doing.

Hi Peter,

I just wanted to tell you thank you so very much for the time you put in yesterday for the training / qualifications course.  We are very blessed to have you on our team as a Sheepdog, but we are doubly blessed by all the training that you do and give to each of us.  I don’t know where we would get the kind of training you have so generously been giving to all of us.  I have a feeling that a lot of the sheepdogs don’t realize how much you have done and continue to do.  I’m sure they would thank you also.  I not only learned a lot yesterday, but the discussions gave me a lot to think and pray about.  A lot of what you said was probably things that very few of us, if any, would have thought about on our own.  (I guess that’s why it’s called training. LOL)

Also, I can’t tell you thank you enough for going so far out of your way to get me a holster that would work in my purse.

Thanks again.

Kellie
